Reading Remediation
Reading fluency is essential to becoming a life long learner. It assits the child with autoditactic slills and builds confidence. Students who struggle with reading fluiency can often feel discouraged. I take an any means necessary approach to increasing reading fluency. Gifted Enrichment
As the mother of gifted children, I understand the unique challenges facing gifted students. Gifted students need opportunites to investigate their curiosities and be challenged by new experiences. Students with high intelligence quotients often lack social, emotional or adversity skills to help them utilize their gifts and reach their potential. A varity of activites including hands on science extentions, thematic research, project based learning, and accelerated/self directed assignments help the students unerstand their own skills and passions while providing opportunites for emotional growth and opportunites to learn from mistakes and adversity.

Journaling, poetry, songs, research and thesis (big idea) creation tap into the skills necessary to becoming an effective, efficent, and expressive writer.

For students who need extra help, tutoring reinforces foundational skills, ensuring they're ready for the next grade. Advanced learners can explore enrichment opportunities, dive deeper into favorite subjects, or tackle new challenges. Tutoring also provides structure to summer days, helping kids avoid boredom while keeping their brains active. It’s a win-win for maintaining learning momentum and setting students up for success in the fal
